My ex-girlfriend has a part-time job conducting technical interviews. Here's what she just texted me: that poor candidate i got her to say oop as a word heheheeh
In this thread, I learn how people say these programming terms. I always feel that the 'P' of 'OOP' is rather superfluous (or even wrong – a lot of what we do is design, not programming) so I say 'O O' (as two letters). SQL I say the three letters or 'sequel' depending on context. And GAC I would pronounce as if it were a word.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius
