I had to read that twice. At first I thought you wrote "Jim Beam" and nearly had a heart attack. Carry on. As long as you're doing cherry stuff with other things, there's nothing to see here. Is that Mr. Bean's favorite drink?

I doubt there's anything produced in the USA that doesn't come in a cherry flavoured version.

What a sad entry into the world of American booze; nothing we produce is as awful as Jim Beam. I can't even sit next to anyone who orders that rotgut garbage, though adding cherry to the mix might just make it barely palatable. The first time I met Mr. Beam was at work, 42 years ago. I had a number of older coworkers, being just a lad at the time, and they all thought that I should try Jim Beam one evening. They bought a quart and a half, gave me the quart, and split the half bewteen themselves, amidst much laughter. I rode my bicycle home from work, being too young to drive, and they tell me it was a foggy night; I don't recall any fog. I got home somehow, found my bedroom, and zipped myself tightly into the sleeping bag I used for a bed. Ten minutes later the world began to whirl about me, and I had the irresistable urge to hurl. Have you ever tried to get out of a sleeping bag in a hurry? It isn't easy... I made it to the bathroom, albeit a tad too late as the damage had already been done. I dragged the sleeping bag out into the yard to dry, but before the Sun managed to clear the air and erase the evidence, my dog buried the offensive object under the lawn. My dad noticed the damage to the lawn, and that was my undoing - two weeks' restriction! To this day, 44 years later, I still can't stand the odor of Jim Beam. I'm not fond of Bourbon of any kind, but none elicit the gut response that Jim Beam does - to hurl, perhaps to violently engulf the server within a cocoon of wetness, mixed with whatever I have ingested in the past 4 hours or so... If you want to explore the varieties of bourbons made in the US, try something else - anything but Jim Beam. X|

                                        Will Rogers never met me.

OK - I promise not to order Jim Beam next time we are out drinking! :-D
