It was a bit dull since most of the time was eaten by formalities. But I did had a discussion with my supervisor and he briefed about my first assignment. Somehow, this time I am nervous. I know I can pull it off but still there is nervousness this time. Not sure why.

I'm sure all will go fine. Nervousness and fear lets you know you are alive and that you care.

Without a certain amount of stage fright even the best fail to perform at their optimum level. If it's scary then it's a challenge. So long as you are not promising OR being expected to do the impossible then it's all good.

The first project is always the most nervous because you want to do it really right, so your new employers get the right impression. Good luck! (And I hope they don't mind you posting on here still!)

I don't see anything wrong with it. I am nervous since it is totally different than whatever I have done before. IMHO there nothing wrong with being nervous and admitting it in from of the World. :)
