Just wrote this line:
I suggest talking with others to see if they agree with the kill.This is an internal email so I do not think it will set off any national security alarms. :) :^) :suss: If you do not know, I am a MS SQL Server DBA, so KILL is the command used to stop a session.Driving home with a colleague a few months ago he said to me "I don't know what I'm going to do tonight now the killing has finished". Queue lots of stunned silence from me until I remember The Killing was a TV program he had mentioned some weeks before.

Our marketing department determines what goes into our packaged product. the list of items is called a Bill Of Materials, or BOM. We finally convinced them to stop talking about updating the BOM, or finishing the BOM while at the airport
Or how bout "somebody sent the BOM to our competitors! What are we going to do???"

He bumped into one of his buddies who is in the TV and film industry while at the airport. He asked the friend: "So where you headed? Is it work?"
