Watched it again last night (director's cut) I just love that movie. Good build up and great cinematography. There were some errors in it though that even I could see, but that didn't bother me :-) it was even double fun, because the misses is not at home and we're living in an old house and have two cats who run around at night. Anyone have some good recommendations for other must see films (that are not too obvious like the imdb top 250) (as a side anekdote, I was watching the excorcism of Emily Rose the night before (not so good) and after I watched it I smelt something burning... I left the window open and the neighbours had a barbecue  )

I liked "Drag me to hell" a lot. Paranormal Activity - I is also a good movie. Second part is not that good.

And I hoped that you can give me an answer to why this old man keeps sneaking into my house and constantly wakes me up by sprinkling me with water or reading from some latin book.

Drag me to hell[^] is good, but only about 50 to 60% of the movie is "scary". You stop being scared after the ghost keeps coming on the screen, like it's a main actor too. :) Highly recommended though, the screenplay is excellent.

"Real men drive manual transmission" - Rajesh.

That old lady was scary. I wonder how much time was spent on her to look like that.

I thought it was on a par if not better than the 1st one, but I agree good movies.

Rosemary's Baby A slow paced psychological horror from the 70's with excellent old-school acting and a very good looking actress playing the main character. It's directed by Polanski, so every scene is a visual masterpiece. It has a few flaws as well, but only boring movies are perfect right? Don't expect any gore though because it doesn't have any.

                Giraffes are not real.

It's quite slow in the beginning but gets better as it progresses. I watched it with headphones on and the sound effect was awsome. I always watch horror movies alone in a dark room with headphones on. That way it adds up to the excitement. :)

Somebody forgot the "Inside" was released in 2007, a total bone chiller and gore....oh yeah!!! ;P
