Wheres my lawnmower, except for the first couple they are all flowers. Not that I have a problem with flowers, just that I find them, well, boring. They don't move around so are probably great subjects for still photos. Looks like a good set of photos (I don't have the knowledge to judge)! I would have taken a look at more than the first one but the next button is hard wired to a crappy advertising page.

Was that elephant close to you? Regardless of their basic nature, every animals are little bit aggressive if they have infants.

Nope they are not. They do not even pose for the picture. :)

I was about 30 feet from them. Mother appeared as if she doesn't bother us clicking picking of her with the kid. But you never know. And yes, 30 ft is not at all a safe distance.

I know that, I had an experience. Few years before I and my friends with a forest guard had a trekking on a rain forest. We were taking pictures of an elephant family. Suddenly they identified our presence. They lined up and stood still like rocks. Th guard said this is not good and let's move back. But how stupid us! We stood up and took our last snaps. Suddenly they attacked us. We fled and managed to save our lives. :sigh:
