I left a company. It was not a pleasant experience due to internal politics, remuneration etc. Well it is an old story. After working different places I am now with the present company. Life is getting better constantly. Hmmmm... Not anymore... My company going to execute a big project with the same old company and same old people and I have a big part in the project. Never thought this would happen ever. Same old sick memories are coming back. Any recommendations :) ?

What would be different if you didn't know them, knowing what you know now? I think it's always an advantage if you already know the people you have to work with. At least you'll be spared from the unpleasant surprises.

might not help much , but for future reference read the second line in my sig.

Talk to JSOP, he'll recommend a nice setup.

Well, if you would be uncomfortable doing the project, first make sure the chain of command in your company knows that – unless it's a very small company they can probably switch you out with someone else of the same level, and you can do what they would have been doing instead. Otherwise, make sure that everyone in the project knows that you're just there to do work, not get involved in politics again, and do a solid professional job. You will know the people to avoid and the ones you can work with so try to do that as much as possible.
