So I get an update notification from my java runtime and it asks if I want to install the Yahoo toolbar. Since when did Oracle start peddling malware, adware, etc. It's getting so you can't even update something without getting junkware. :~

Well, who doesn't release stuff like that ? Microsoft software is just as bad. Christian Graus That's called seagull management (or sometimes pigeon management)... Fly in, flap your arms and squawk a lot, crap all over everything and fly out again... by _Damian S_

The yahoo toolbar has been a component of the Java installer for a few years now. You may already have installed it on your machine without even realizing it.

Believe me that you see the yahoo toolbar when it is installed. In fact, you cannot see anything else in the browser anymore.

I have been denying the updates for a long time. Aside from my work pc I never install it at home, but good to know.
