Well, there is a story about some company that claims they have cloned a human. They don't have any evidence as of yet, though. www.cnn.com[^] has the story.. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Actually the knowledge is there - its just a stupid political / religious block that keeps this kind of research in the dark and out of the purvey of more reliable and acknowledged researchers. It will happen along with other advances but at a slower pace than if the research was not crippled by artifical means. It won't be long before life is "created" in the lab. We will be mass producing human organs for transplant in a trans species manner ( probably porcine ) in just a very few years ( less than 10 I would suspect ). Stem cell research will possibly allow us to use animal hosts to grow replacement organs for transplant. This is gonna piss of a lot of different types of people from PETA to the Pope and all the wackos in between. But it is not a lack of knowledge that is the limiting factor here. Richard I must have liberty Withal, as large a charter as the wind, To blow on whom I please. As You Like It. Act ii. Sc. 7. William Shakespeare

I agree with everthing you wrote. Imagine, you have a rotten tooth: In the future the may be able take a sample of your DNA, Disconnect everthing in the DNA that is not to do with the tooth. The place the modded DNA in a replicator, and 4 weeks later you have a new tooth that can be surgically implanted with near zero rejection problems. Regardz Colin J Davies

You are the intrepid one, always willing to leap into the fray! A serious character flaw, I might add, but entertaining. Said by Roger Wright about me.
