Our kids books :The Snot Goblin, and Book 2 - the Snotgoblin and Fluff The Snotgoblin for the IpadWell I refuse to go to JB Hifi, it's staffed by tattooed, pierced, disaffected bloody children who are too busy looking cool. 2nd hand from ebay has worked well for me but I was never hugely into gaming and was happy to wait 3 months after the release of a game to buy it at 10% of the price. kmart and target had a pretty good range I think

I had a different experience at my JB (Miranda). They're usually quite knowledgeable in their areas and have always been attentive (except when they're really busy). JB also has cheaper price than EB, KMart or Target but YMMV. Though EB sometimes gets titles that are not stocked everywhere else.

My kids have had the 250GB 360 thingy for a couple of years. The kids find the games and I pay the money. So not able to help you with usage or purchase info.

Our kids books :The Snot Goblin, and Book 2 - the Snotgoblin and Fluff The Snotgoblin for the IpadYeah, I got one for xmas. My one free game was 'medal of honor' which disappointed me, there's no subtlety, it's just all out guns blazing through the game. I setup the xbox christmas evening and was finished the game early the following afternoon. If you're getting it real cheap then it's ok, but not worth the money IMO. Gears of War I've tried the tutorial, but found the movement too slow and clunky and never went back to it (probably a settings thing). Halo reach, I've played a bit but just haven't been all that impressed with, not sure why, for HD I think they've deliberatly made everything fuzzy or something. Currently playing Apache Air Assault and I'm enjoying it. I've also finished Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and enjoyed that (Brother in law said Black Ops didn't live up to the hype and wasn't as good as Modern Warfare.) Played and Assassins Creed too and enjoyed that also. I'm a bit over half way thru GTA4 and will go back to it. I've played a bit of a Tomb Raider game too, reserving judgement for the minute.

black ops only lives up to the hype in online pvp play. The story line was not as good as Modern Warfare in my opinion. pvp is pretty wicked though. I have three teenage boys and we play a fair bit.
Programming is a race between programmers trying to build bigger and better idiot proof programs, and the universe trying to build bigger and better idiots, so far... the universe is winning. Be careful which toes you step on today, they might be connected to the foot that kicks your butt tomorrow. You can't scare me, I have children.
