So I've had my first real practice with the band I joined. Having a ton of fun, splitting the lead duties something a bit less than 50/50 ( they were only looking for a rhythm player ), and I think I'm noticing some definite improvements in my playing as a result. I hope we will be gigging by the end of the year.

Awesome! My boss plays lead in a classic rock cover (mostly) band. He's pretty good too! Although I own a guitar, I'm fairly useless. I have a strange urge to play drums - I may just break down and buy a kit one of these days. (I have tried a friends kit before, and it was fun!)

You should get in to it, if you like it. Music is just too much fun.

Excellent! Excellent! I've been meaning to revive my wanton rock 'n' roll ways in Toronto but I'll prolly have to stop coding for a while in order to do that. :) /ravi

Classic Rock, I guess. Plenty of Angels and AC/DC, some Rose Tattoo, ZZ Top, GnR, etc.
