Tester team : Theres a bug in your code Me: Really? I'm not Chris Maunder you know Tester Team: Yes, and who is Chris Maunder? Me: Really? works when I do it on my desktop Test team: In citrix, the app doesnt work properly in citrix - its a bug and its YOUR fault {unsaid: and we want to score some points against you} Me: well the app was never designed for Citrix and you lot tested the functionality last year and passed it as working. Test Team: its not working in citrix, your code has a bug Me: oh OK i'll check, now give me an account on this "Citrix" thing and i'll look into it Test team: heres the citrix account Me: Ta for that, now i've looked into it and the app works properly - you {unsaid: muppets} were not following the correct procedure. Been there, done that. Also worked with people who told the testers 'it works on my desktop so it's your problem to work out how to make it work on yours', so I see both sides of the coin.

You have a tester team? Lucky ducks. Do you work for Chris?

I had the uncomfortable situation where the tester (the BA for the project) claimed a bug and even demonstrated it, I then pointed out the she was on a different entity than the one she started from and that particular view was correct. At which point she smacked me and pointed out the entity changed between views. I fixed the problem post haste.

If the testers don't get it to work, will the users?
