          Bet it has crap signal strength with an antenna that size. Not to mention lack of shielding and proximity to other electronics...

            True but it does mean you don't need any wires, even if you have to have it quite close to what ever is connecting to it. One excellent use I can see is if I were to take a picture on my camera I'd be able pull the photos off through my phone and e-mail / upload some of them without having to stop off at a computer. One flaw I see is that the suspicious looking person with the fake moustache sitting behind you could also get your photos. Unless you need to set a password to use it.

                  Neat... but my computers all have memory card readers... so useless in my case...
