All the time. Most days I'll e-mail whatever I'm working on to my home account and carry on with it of the evening, then e-mail it back. I could always just RDT in to my work machine ...

I use Dropbox for this now. However, I have emailed myself countless times.

Sometimes. Normally I just drag it onto my phone, which tends to be connected by usb when at work. I have e-mailed a file just so I can connect to our corporate webmail at a user's machine and download it from the sent items a few times too.

It's the ONLY way I can get files from the office to the home machine and woe betide you if there is something sensitive in the attachment.

Yes. I just started a new contract, and I'm not allowed to attach anything to the company's computer. On my last contract, I was in the habit of backing up my stuff to a flash drive, but occasionally the system would pop up a warning that the file being copied might contain sensitive data.

Actually, I can honestly say never - at least in the context of the strip. I have emailed files from home to work and vice-versa, but those are different email addresses. Never emailed to the same email address that I was sitting in front of at the time. Mostly because I've never had an internet-based email address (e.g. gmail).

Well, since USB is disabled here, along with a dearth of blank CD/DVDs, I quite often email myself .piz and .xex files. Oh. Did I forget to mention that attachments of potential evil are automatically deleted by the #$@#! mail server?

Many times, but nowadays I have logmein pro here at work and I can just log in to the target pc and it handles file transfers, even large ones.
Programming is a race between programmers trying to build bigger and better idiot proof programs, and the universe trying to build bigger and better idiots, so far... the universe is winning. Be careful which toes you step on today, they might be connected to the foot that kicks your butt tomorrow. You can't scare me, I have children.

I regulary email myself pdf books/documents so that I can open them in my iPod.
