                  Only two AIDS epidemics? There are four known: the Simian Immune-deficiency Virus[^], which is the most likely source of HIV, and the Bovine Immunedeficiency Virus[^]. All four belong to a family of lentevirus, which includes other, similar, virus that affect goats, sheep and horses. I am rather surprised that Science Magazine would publish such sloppy work.
