Has anyone had any experience in paying to have a professional website critique done? My friend wants to get a professional assessment of a website, in terms of clarity, ease of use, navigability, organization, use of colors, etc. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Best wishes, Hans

I'll do it if you take my DLP TV off my hands.

Well if you're looking to just give it away I could probably find a use for it...

I've had some experience with an extremely large and vociferous group of highly intelligent and strong minded developers. My recommendation: a good McLaren Vale or Barrosa Shiraz, and advil. Oh, and tell him not to take anything personally because it will be his code, workflow choices and personal taste they will be shredding, not his personal qualities. Usually.

Have you thought about giving Goodwill a call? They'll pick it up and you'll get a tax deduction

Realistically, all of us in the Lounge are professional critics. If you have him sign up, make some bacon related posts, then sneak a link to his site in asking for advice, people might respond.
