Not just yet. I am working feverishly to finish some work up before taking a 2-3 hour drive to a nearby city, where I will stay at for the rest of the weekend.

Are you kidding? Not only is it 8:30 in the morning* but we're all cowering under the desk, waiting for a satellite to fall on our heads :) * Nothing wrong with going down the pub at this time, other than the fact it's not open

Just heard on the news that it's all good, no one will get hurt, nothing to worry about. The satellite will most likely probably not hit North America. (All I could think was "um, so where will it hit...??)

A NASA spokesperson said "It's OK. It will re-enter 1000s of kilometres down range." Well that's OK then!

Bless 'em. As long as it's not in their backyard, what does it matter. Apparently they did say they won't know where until 10 minutes before impact - and then they will only know within 10,000km Bit crap, NASA
