You probably want to change all instances of carrier for career before this thread descends into piss taking.
Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

Well, you want a nice, large deck, so you can launch as many jets as possible... And make sure you have a decent power plant, or you'll never keep up with the cruisers and destroyers. Be warned, this is a fairly expensive project.

The market is saturated. I suggest you employ pigeons for a USP.

Start from the small things. Just keep learning, start your quest for knowledge and experience, as deep as possible. And a better job will come to you. Well, that's how I planned to do this anyway.
Excuse me for my improper grammar and typos. It's because English is my primary language, not my first language. My first languages are C# and Java. VB, ASP, JS, PHP and SQL are my second language. Indonesian came as my third language. My fourth language? I'm still creating it, I'll let you know when it's done! :-D

Work hard, keep schedules, and don't undermine authority and you'll do just fine. People notice those who work hard, even though sometimes it doesn't seem that way. If you leave one job for the other, never burn bridges behind you, your reputation will follow you (in certain communities more than others). Good luck!

Learn as much as you can about more than just the technology you are going to be working with. Listen and learn, and remember that the clients requirements may not make sense to you at the start. If they don't question them and get an understanding of what the client wants. Don't just deliver the bare minimum to satisfy the requirements - actually take the time to try to make your application robust. Most importantly, ask questions. If you have a task, make sure you understand it thoroughly and that you think through the implications before you start it. Good luck in your career.

My advice - follow your inspiration, never do anything purely for the money unless you need to maintain a roof over your head and eat. And most importantly - find enjoyment in your career - it's going to be at least one third of your life for the rest of your working life... :)
