Wow - This[^] is freakin' awesome. The article states: The restaurant offers a Quadruple Bypass Burger that contains four beef patties, cheese, bacon and reportedly, about 8,000 calories. Along with its staple sandwich, the menu offers a milkshake with the world’s “highest butterfat content” (garnished with a tab of butter) and flatliners fries that are deep fried in pure lard. Cool. Now if they could just come out with a kosher version. *sigh*

That show is strangely addictive! Some of the BBQ joints he's been to in the Southern states...big portions of pulled pork + ribs, om nom nom nom.

I used to eat 3-4K calorie MRE's in the Army but 8K? Wow, call a doctor.

Sorry about the repost, but the item just appeared in CNN and FoxNews today. BTW - article states that their spokesman (who was about 500? pounds) dies of cardiac arrest. Seems like the spokesman really got the message across.

No worries - it surfaces every year or so. But it's nice to drool at. CNN and FoxNews today Ah. Must be a slow news day. No market meltdowns, Steve's death is getting old and cold, Greece is going to get its $8B loan, so what else is there to talk about? ;) Marc

Why does lard have such a bad rap? Get it from a good quality animal and it's better for you than olive oil. I guess that leaves more for me. :-D

"We would not find it cute if a particular bar catered to alcoholics" I don't think he understands the point of a bar.
