until there's a key, they're worthless. only a dozen people know what the colors mean. and if you don't know the secret color code, you can't tell what the rating is until you actually read the post - which defeats at least part of the point of having ratings (so that you can skip low rated messages) -c

No, you misunderstand - they give me something to click on while i'm reading. How else am i supposed to suffer through these long, well-thought-out posts? I'd end up clicking on the ads or something! :omg:

Almost never. I think I've only done it once or twice. I think it should be

                              (1)Bad (2)Neutral (3)Good.

Otherwise, it's just kind of useless to have a 1-5 scale.:|

I'm pretty much the same way and will only rate when I feel extremely strong about something that was said. Otherwise, it seems pointless to give a 3 for an average comment.

Chris, I have to tell you that I just went looking around your site again, and I found SAHotShot. Oh man! That program is awesome! Much better than WinKeys or any of the others that I've seen. Also, I'm going to recommend Snoop to my Dad. He's been looking for something that would let him do exactly what Snoop does. He'll be thrilled.
