And the news in grim... My lunch was not one of the better ones I have eaten. Big Mac, Cheeseburger, Large Fries and a Coke. Sitting at my desk working, no time to go home, sent elf to Maccy D's with instructions. Feeling fat and lazy now.

I always have time to go outside for lunch. Even if it means adding some time on later.

Yes, constant access to CP is a basic human right in UK prisons these days.

The root for "pizza" is Greek πίτα, or "pie". Discuss :~

Surely that is 'pitta' i.e. the flatbread they wrap stuff in? That has more of a resemblance to a pizza base than a pie does. Do the Greeks even have pies in our sense of the word (i.e. a pastry base and top)?

I always bemoan the lack of puddings in chinese cuisine. 1.4 Billion people, you'd think they could rustle up a pastry chef or two.

Read from here[^] This is a Mick Martin dominated thread so the language is choice.

But your outside isn't made up of Luton. I am similarly afflicted having Walsall outside my office (and a bit too much of it inside).

This is true. On the other hand, if it did, I would probably agitate for a transfer or just never have taken the job in the first place. My outside, alas, is nothing special either, but my office is in a business park on the edge of town so at least I can get out into something vaguely resembling countryside at lunchtime. Particularly important at this time of year when it's dark before and after work hours.
