It just showed up on Windows Update last week. Wasn't it originally released four or five months ago? Will it go ahead and delete Silverlight from my system for me?

Service Packs are usually included into Windows Update only after a waiting period after the initial release. Furthermore, Windows Genuine Attitude detects users behavior and assigns service packs based on a very complex algorithm designed to improve customer happiness. And what is this "Silverlight" you speak of? Codename for Windows 9?
