"Better"? I get this: Server not found Firefox can't find the server at www.pagemoon.com. Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. I guess you're not "technical" enough.

Thank you. For more info on PageMoon, http://www.pagemoon.com/aboutus.html[^] Idea Behind PageMoon: Most users visit mainly the best websites & Most users have some homepage but the moment the browser opens the homepage, they either key in the url of any website they wish to visit (or) search the bookmark (not in a public computer) for an url of any website. PageMoon's idea is to ease and quicken this process. PageMoon is a better bet than any other homepage for this matter. Note: PageMoon is not built to categorise or list as many websites as possible, But to give the user an extra edge to act quick at ease.

Better than what and better at what? Firstly, the current page is not accessible (server problem?), secondly the Google cached copy is just a list of websites, most of which I am never likely to visit, and the rest I already have in my favourites.

Why would anyone vote down a bug report?
Ideological Purity is no substitute for being able to stick your thumb down a pipe to stop the water
Because I couldn't leave well enough alone, and added the JSOP flourish at the end of the message. It was a low-rep user that down-voted, so it could have been Mr. Technical himself.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Better than trying to have a meaningful conversation with my ex-wife. Better than Visual Studio Service Pack 1. Better than Windows Vista. Better than VB (of course, ANYTHING is better than VB, so I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to state the obvious).

Better at showing us that the web browser can indeed handle errors regarding the server being down. Better at giving us an opportunity to illustrate that a "free" server is just a cheap way of saying "I don't want to pay my own way". Better at wasting space on the internet. Better at edging you closer to your ISPs bandwidth cap for no apparent benefit. I could go on, but I'm bored now...

How do you pronounce that? Is it more like Manaz, or more like man-ass? If it's the latter, I'd look into changing hosting providers...

I'd say it might be better at predicting what is in a user's favorites than most portal portals. :-D

of course it is, but do you know of a portal that holds more of your favorites (and isn't made by you)? :)

one might be using different browsers and/or different computers, even in different places; that is when a web-based portal (or home page) may come in handy. FWIW: I don't use such portals, nor favorites; I have a local html file with over 1000 links; and I synchronize it amongst my machines. :)
