Have you ever been in a conference room where it ran a few minutes over the allotted time? During those minutes over did you view a person in glass around the door pacing back and forth only to stare at you with the implicit need for fish food, I mean, starting the meeting on time? You just found someone who was Goldfishing...a person who is so uber-anxious to be part of the on-time meeting they try to display themselves in the glass in some way to get you out of the conference room, like that will give that goldfish some extra credit with the managing goldfish.

Have you ever arrived at a conference room you have booked, only to find there are people using it who have either overrun their time, or just didn't bother to book because their meeting is more important than yours? You've just stumbled accross a group meeting of The Tao of Meh[^]

Are there any other kind of meetings in conference rooms? Every meeting seems to run over the allotted time... :sigh:

Gets to the end, stand up, say "Thank you gentlemen" and walk out. I used to have to have regular meetings with some people who were always 10 to 20 minutes late. We got fed up with this so started to give them 5 minutes and then returning to our desks. They turn up on time now. People who cannot run meetings properly (like not providing bacon sandwiches, see yesterday) really, really piss me off. If it's your meeting keep control of the damn thing else you are just wasting all of our time.
