I've been doing this for almost 20 years and now it seems like I am trying to learn all over again. Letters are garbled up, missing, wrong words come out. The same thing happened a few weeks ago. If this is a repeat, then I can look forward to a whole day of banging on the Backspace key. Maybe I should go back to typing like Tony Two-Fingers. Luckily today is only a half-day so the misery should be brief.

True, but having seen the symptoms before (in my mother), it's a classic sign of a TIA or mini stroke, especially if it's happened before.

You could try to type by smashing the head on the keyboard. But I know days like that - sometimes it's more wasting electric power than productive work.

Compounded by the fact that I have high blood pressure, it could be a stroke. X| Although I have my doubts. I think my brain is getting so efficient at thinking that my hands can't keep up. :)

I have that experience sometimes. When you're having to backspace every other word, you know it's time for a coffee break. (Or whatever you use to refresh yourself if, like me, you don't drink coffee.) (2 backspaces needed in the construction of this post.)

No doubts about that. I would have counted it a blessing if my typing was the only thing to go. My hairline beat it to the punch. Although it was a close call if the hair was the first to go or the smaller pant size. I can still fit into my old size, but I start turning blue in the face.

I wondered when someone would bring that up :p. No bacon either (or any cured pork meats). Cold fingers (I've just been outside for lunch) mean I have trouble typing, in keeping with the original thread.

You don't drink coffee? No wonder you can't type.
