So, yes I believe in the Bible as far as it is translated correctly.

For example, the King James version says the the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart after each of the plagues by Moses.   That can't be true because it contradicts all of the other teaching of the Lord's.

Well, not each plague, only a selection. Pharoah's heart hardens of its own accord sometimes. Can you tell me what a translation of the Hebrew version of Exodus actually says, and how it was mistranslated.

Yes, Pharaoh hardened his own heart.

The Genesis creation story says the earth is covered by a vault (firmament) and that the celestial bodies move inside the vault. (See Genesis 1:6-8) This makes no sense unless one assumes that the earth is essentially flat. Joshua 10:12 puts the Sun and Moon over the earth. Isaiah 40:22 - the heavens are a curtain spread like a tent over the earth. Now I know you're going to say it's OT so it doesn't count, so herre's some NT for you. Revelations 1:7, they'll only see Him from everywhere if the earth is flat. Revelations 7:1 talks of the four corners of the earth, that sounds like a flat finite area to me. There you go, five references.

Good effort but way off. I do not know what version of the Bible you are reading but some of those are VERY different than the King James version. 1. Genesis: Wow, what an assumption by you. 2. Joshua: "puts the Sun and Moon over the earth" These are YOUR words. That means the earth is flat? Are you insane? Please go look outside and tell me where yo see the sun and then tonight the moon. Seriously? You can't possibly have meant this but for the life of me I can't follow you on this one. 3. Again, what in the world version of the Bible are you reading? 4. OT does count. Don't twist my words. If what you say is true then Christ did not walk on water either. I don't know how it will be but yes I do know that everyone will see Christ when he comes again. Everyone, even on a round world. There is a law of physics you 1137s don't even know about. 5. Even modern language uses this term. That's because of maps being flat. Really? You don't even seem like you are trying.

"I will not believe anything on faith alone." You contradict yourself. Faith is believing in something you cannot see. You believe some guy in a white coat who told you that something happened 400,000 years ago. That is much more far stretched than believing in the Bible.

I can see the guy in the white coat because I can visit him if I so choose and I can prove they existed from multiple reliable sources. Can you say the same for your toga wearing hippie pixie?(No offense to hippies, or pixies)

        I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. Again, read the text. It specifically puts the sun and moon over a specific places on the earth. The ONLY way to interpret that is to assume that the earth is (at minimum) at the center with the sun and moon above the flat earthly disc. There is certainly no way you can twist these words into being a sun centered solar system.

6- And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which [were] under the firmament from the waters which [were] above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. Perhaps you need to actually read the text then. It is exactly what is said. (From your beloved KJV by the way)

                                  3. Again, what in the world version of the Bible are you reading?

22 [It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: Not sure what you are reading. This is again your KJV. Perhaps you should actually read your bible once in a while if you are going to claim to know what it says.

Wow. Blind does not even begin to describe you. You twisted everything so bad. You are definitely way out there. You can't get past the first understanding. I would have better success trying to teach my 2 year old dif eq than trying to explain anymore to you. You have no foundation and therefore cannot understand even the easiest concepts. Good luck with your continued faith in science only. Hope that goes well for you.

Then why does the bible say that god did it? Read the stories carefully before responding.

                                    I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Wow you really missed the boat on this one. If you go back, the discussion was about how man has made some changes to the Bible. Don't waste my time.

Ah yes. The old "You can't understand the bible because you're not a believer and the spirit hasn't revealed it to you" argument. :sigh:

                                      I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Just because you can't understand that concept does not mean it is not true.

Cyclical reasoning. You're wrong because I'm right doesn't wash in this man army. Neither do a lot of the troops, but that's another story.

That is not what I said which again proves what I just said, you don't even know what you are saying.

Again, you're just saying we're wrong and misinterpreting the Bible. What do you take it to mean, can you explain things differently. And as you brought up differential equations you'll understand this: SHOW YOUR WORKINGS
