Hey, congratulations. It's a shame you're not more local - I'd gladly swap some ATL lessons for some cooking ones. Cooking is good fun, if you've got the time. It is also cheaper and healthier than eating out ( you don't think they care if the tomatos in the pasta sauce are a little mouldy at the local Italian place, do you ? ) Oh, it's also an excuse to crank up the stereo and dance half naked in the kitchen. Oops, sorry for the frightening window into my personal life.... Christian #include "std_disclaimer.h" People who love sausage and respect the law should never watch either one being made. The things that come to those who wait are usually the things left by those who got there first.

Hi all, how many of you can fix yourself a decent meal/know how to cook? it seems to me cooking a meal is tougher than writing an ATL control(or whatever). as I'm a bachelor, I used to mostly eat out. recently, thanks to my mom, who is a great cook, i'm learning how to cook. nothing ravishing so far, and am cooking for only a coupla weeks (have got a few complains from my neighbour for the thick smoke but no problems with the fire brigade...so far..) cooking definately no child's play. i'm proud to say that yesterday i fixed a whole a meal for meself( and ate it too).:-) what about you guys? how about a cooking section here at cp? :-D Hush..Hush.. thought I heard you calling my name now...

Well, I have a habit of cutting myself, and so it's a matter of self preservation that I have jocks on. It's also kind of a hygiene issue.... Christian #include "std_disclaimer.h" People who love sausage and respect the law should never watch either one being made. Christian, I think you are a conditate for KNIFE.Net - it won't actually be sharp until you are just about to cut what you want to cut - it's called "Just In Time Technology Electronic Resonance Sensor". The configuration menus are self explanatory and only teke .. ATL Student

Sounds very sezy - is that a recommendation from experience ??? As for the soup, I can afford to take some risks, I already have my two children.... I really enjoy cooking also. I am mostly a barbecue-er. I have found that that the local (Oregon) Pinot Noirs are excellent with most things I cook. I have also collected quite a few links to sites with recipes. Here is my recipe links page : http://home.earthlink.net/~rickyork/Recipes.htm

Nice links. You might want to add www.epicurious.com to that list. It has archived recipies from Gourmet and Bon Appetit (among others). ------------------------------ Smaller Animals Software, Inc. http://www.smalleranimals.com
