Anyone ever use any of the online freelancer websites ? i have little odd jobs i'd like to "farm" out but never used those sites before figured i'd shoot for opinions here.

Yes they work like this: as an "employer" you will get shit quality but you have to pay anyway, as an "employee" you never get paid regardless of the quality of your work.

I twice used RentACoder as an employer. The experience was good. I was purchasing a couple of small classes that the coders already had lying around. If you're the "employer," you can be sure the site will work hard on your behalf because you supply the money. The coders usually get the short end of the stick.

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

On RaC, they even frequently get the stick plugged somewhere in their anatomy.
