Whenever you send an insect into space, it comes back 100x as big, with a taste for human flesh! It's one thing to send an american spider, it's quite another to send an aussie spider - since everyone knows australia is the land of horrific poisonous things, like steve irwin! :omg: -=c

Is it me, or is this just asinine? Fill me with your knowledge, your wisdom, your coffee.

Are you kidding? This is a great idea. Imagine how pissed those spiders will be when they don't have gravity to form their webs. I wonder if they will be able to use their thread as a form of propulsion. Ryan Johnston

A total of 30 Golden Orb spiders bred at the Melbourne Zoo left for Cape Canaveral in Florida state Thursday packed in a cooler, said zoo keeper Patrick Honan said. You think they could find something more scientific to put them in:laugh: Those Ausies;), everything has to be about beer, it was probably a beer cooler:laugh: G'day Mate, JoeSox www.joeswammi.com "Male Employee #1 Hey Nick, how's it going? "Only eight — deemed the most frisky after the long flight — will board a space shuttle Jan" Frisky? :omg: "30 Golden Orb spiders...the tiny spiders..." Hmm - I don't know where they are getting their Orb weavers but the ones whose webs I used to regularly walk into each morning were not something I'd ever describe as 'tiny'. "The size of my palm with big red legs and a bulbous body and a propensity to drop onto my head", yes, but tiny...? cheers, Chris Maunder
