Erotic IE Toolbar Button

No I don't have one for you all to install. One of my monsterfully powerful machines (AMD K6 200MHz) at work used by our unemployed clients has attained a new button in the past couple of days. It looks like a picture of a mobile phone and has a caption that says Erotic. I have resisted it's powers so far and have not clicked on it. I would like to get rid of it but when I use View->Tools->Customize... I only get the option to move it from Current Toolbar Buttons to Available Toolbar Buttons. Where as I want to get rid of it completely. Anyone know how to do this? Machine is running Windows NT 4 Workstation SP6a with Internet Explorer 6 SP1. Yes I have tried Google[^] for an answer with no luck. If you manage to get the correct answer it just means you are better qualified to question Google[^] than I. Use BHOCop. It removes these kinds of extension DLLs that are called "Browser Helper Objects". I would also check your companies phone records for the time this unemployed client (I am fuzzy on how this came into your possesion, so I'm assumign this person was working out of your office).

After 12 years in IT I was retrenched and unable to get a job (any job, even labouring needs certificates) so I spent 13 months unemployed. Here in Australia they have a thing called Work For the Dole where we supposably learn to interact with people again and want to work again. 6 weeks ago the company I was doing WFtD through offered me a job as a supervisor. Now I oversee a group of unemployted people who are meant to be learning basic web page creation and also radio production so they can get onto a local community radio station. We don't have all the software or hardware required to achieve this. So after we do what we can I let them fuck around on the internet to keep their enthusiasm up. Hey we as a cpompany can't provide what's required so a bit of slacking off is fine in my book. But the problem may be you don't know what you missed. So first click on the button the find out what it is.:) The mistakes made in this API make me realise that Microsoft has become big enough that it can shelter morons. Found the registry entry, blew it away as well as the folder it pointed to. Now all I have to do is restart IE or possibly Windows to see if the icon is gone.
