Ah, but Chinese New Year is a moving target. Us Western idiots can't handle movable feast days -- Hell, I never even get Easter or the Queen's official birthday right! (And I blame missing wedding anniversaries on the fact that my wife's Chinese, so I get confused by having to remember it in multiple calendars.)
