IMHO, Even when Indians did not need this aid, it was accepted to placate some political class in England. And England assumed that, this aid would help in future trade talks like this one. But the ultimate losers were the Tax payers from England.

Errm, the aid was from the UK, not England. You'll aggravate Scotland, NI and Wales by assuming that only England contributed. This is why it's a good idea to stay away from politics in the lounge. Take this whole thread to the soapbox and it will be properly debated there.

But I assumed that it was only forbidden when "Indian" was used to provoke. I assummed that Its Ok to provoke Aussies, English and to some extend Irish because thay have better sense of humour. If thats is not the case, I am guilty as charged. I will be waiting for the judgement sentence.

Its is called reverse racisim. It was never allowed to joke/banter Indians. As soon as that happened, it was shouted as rascisim. But at the same time, it was not frowned upon to riducule Germans, yankees or even English by "Underdogs"

In the same way that posting such a thread about Indians (or insert nationality of choice) would be as well. You deliberately set out to provoke a nationalistic reaction - and that's trolling.

It's a shame that (as I understand it) unless you are selling to a company which is a net exporter, India imposes high import taxes, which makes it hard to sell into them.

The Rafale is the best fighter in the world

I fear that this is only an unproven opinion. And there is only one way to find out for sure. Which I personally is not in favour of.

Not sure what you are thinking about. Give a bad pilot the best fighter, and he won't be able to do anything with it. The Rafale is a very good fighter, has brought many improvements in many aspects of aircraft technology. The pilots nickname the Eurofighter the flat iron. The Rafale has only one problem : it is utmost expensive.

Of course they do. However, others seemed to have been effective in putting him in his place.

Not really pissed off at losing the contract, because it will be late delivered and over priced and the aircraft will be unreliable and falling out of the sky. And as for the £1Billion in aid every year, even your finance minister doesn't want it (see here[^]) But the restiction of visas for foreign students is all down to politicking.

I presume that is because they can't put them in reverse?
