Just got my new TV for the living room on order Linky[^], arrives next Saturday - love getting a new gadget! Which means I can move the current 40" Sony Bravia LCD from the living room into the snug for primary use with my Xbox/PS3 (yippeeeeee! no more Crapanation Street or Deadenders for me!) I knew moving house would be expensive, but I didn't expect having to buy new sofas, dining room table, TV beds etc - I guess that's what you get when you move into a bigger house! Anyone else getting a new gadget soon? :)

I was going to suggest that you make it quite clear who is in charge! But then I realised who is in charge of my home and thought it might not be a good idea.

All you need is a hammer, they fix every DIY task :laugh: or in my father in laws case A saw, lets saw everything in half and put in flex hose so that it can go around my handy not so handy work.

I have a very similar Samsung TV and find it quite disapointing. Google "Samsung LCD hd looks weird" and you'll see lots of people reporting the same problem. It's hard to describe but movies in particular look really odd on this Tv.

What model have you got? I've got a 40" Samsung LCD I bought in 2009 and a 50" Samsung Plasma I bought at the end of 2010 and I find both have fantastic pictures. The only thing I can see is the 40" is blurry in fast moving parts like in sport but that's the refresh rate.
