Is this the WARM8 that is not Compatible with W8 for PC? ARM devices are going to be limited under W8, so I would stick with Android, as we all know it works, on my tablet, and W7 for my PC. I hate the Metro GUI, it was obviously designed for Children or the Hard of Education.

What use for the hardware ? work ? leasure ? developping ? For the tablet, does it offer the applications that you need right now ? or will you have an "empty" shell for months ? (The Windows Marketplace is still quite behind the Android one in software availability).
Watched code never compiles.

Personally I would rather have a tablet. Since it can run in both modes and I can always use periphials and have it behave as a laptop would, it seems to be a no brainer. I am not totally sold on the OS yet, but considering MS tech is part of my career and for a couple other dozen similar reasons W8 makes the most sence. Even if it is not the 'best' OS it will actually be by far the most usable for my every day life.
Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet.
