Cool car. Do you seriously have one of those? I'm jealous, drool, drool... Not to be too pedantic:

My old car [clickity[^]] went in for her MOT today. All the original MG bits are 50+ years old and the body work is coming up for 30 years old. Over the course of the year she's had fuel, oil, grease and a small bit of welding on the radiator. Nothing big, she just keeps running and she past with flying colours. I will take her out for a celebratory drive tonight. :-D

A nice one came up around here at a fair price a couple of years back, sold fast. Future Wiz won't let me buy any toys until I get rid of a bunch. Motorcycle, scooter, 2 mopeds to part with, to start. I'm done with 2 wheels, probably will get an old and/or kit convertible in a couple of years. or not.

Pretty cars - used to enjoy working on the real MGs - easy to make money on! (Manual time to change water pump on an MGB: 2.5 hours - actual time: 30 minutes give or take - working on piece rate you want those all day long!) :-)

Probably some hippy /petrol's bad/ numpty. There's more chance of getting water to stay on a duck's back then there is of it annoying me.

Started life as a 1962 MG-B. Body is an NG-TA; one of about 470 made. I can't remember exactly but I think the conversion was 1983/4 and she's an elephant joy to drive.

If that is a kit car, it would be based on the MG TD. MGB is a sweet little rounded roadster. (I know this cause I have an all original '64 sitting in my garage waiting for some fixing to happen.)

Nagy, That is really sweet! As evidenced above, I thought it was based on the TD. I personally love all things MG (even SU carbs.) They are a ton of fun to play with and drive. I re-rescued my father's '64 MGB from a barn last summer and brought it back home after it had sat for 20 years. I am beginning the long process of getting her back into shape. It will not be easy, but it will be fun, and I hope to pass on some knowledge to my 4 boys along the way.
