Maintenance phase is the longer, more expensive, and difficult one. Not the development and delivery. ;P

And do keep all your fingers crossed that that will be the message. It's quite a nerve wrecking experience with the first child to wait for the bugreports. With the second child, you don't have time to give it any thoughts, you're busy with the first child.

We are still tinkering at the first release. Somewhat in the past, the development was abandoned and there was no release. :sigh: Being busy with the first and therefore having no time to worry about the second sounds like having experience and much humor :-D I'll remember your wisdom. Meanwhile enjoy having a complete family.

It took us five years before we could even start development on the first release, so I think I can relate, at least in part. Looking for bugs in the IDE is also quite nervewrecking. :sigh: Second release was a lot faster than expected, but we're not unhappy with that. Rather the opposite. :-D

See that others have to wait a bit and then have a happy family, gives me hope. We have been trying for about three years. Longer than some IT projects. Yes, looking for bugs in the IDE is really annoying and kind violates any shame border. Especially the women must endure a lot. :sigh: Only compensation is to press F5 and start a new compilation. (Ok I confess this is below the belt)
