I had a clipboard manager when I worked in production, the guy was worthless. Stood around with a clipboard in his hand and did absolutely nothing and didn't know what he was doing. The clipboard made him look important though. :doh:
It was broke, so I fixed it.

I don't mind coughing up some wonga for it, but it should be quick to use - say, like a drop-down list from the top of the screen showing the last dozen or so clips, but just the first one or two lines of each clip. I don't want something that takes up a lot of screen real estate all the time. Does anybody have any suggestions? A large amount of (virtual) bacon may be available as a reward. :)

Use ClipX, it remember as many as you want it too. Beside text it also remembers picture that is in the clipboard. Take a look here: http://bluemars.org/clipx
