    Just came across this video, which is summed up pretty well by the highest rated comment, "He's turned game development into a game itself". I Googled Bret and came across http://worrydream.com/, which seems to be his portfolio website. View it in Chrome or FF (you basically get a text-only website in IE). The transition animations make me giddy, and even the bio is awesome. Check it out, it's awesome!

      I'm not that impressed, the page is so slow, it is close to unusuable for me, and worse it damaged basic UI interaction (such as the vertical scroll bar). This is disappointing because some of the content seemed really interesting

        That's odd, it works just fine for me in Chrome. Vertical scroll bar and all.

          I actually prefer the IE Text only version, much more clear and easy to navigate (sure it lacks eye candy, but at least doesn't stutter when scrolling) Its actually a very good idea to only show something that the browser can handle, Maybe have 5 versions of your website, sure its more work, but then everyone can be happy and you get more sales/visitors

          1. Text Only - for Lynx
          2. Simple CSS1 and HTML and light JS        - IE <= 6
          3. Better CSS2 and jquery - IE >= 7 AND Other not so latest browsers
          4. Full featured canvas and CSS3 - Latest Chrome, Safari and Firefox
          5. Small screen optimized - for mobile browsers
