The beer companies beat Google by years. In my younger days, I often wore said goggles.

Great, I lose or break my sunglasses about every 4 weeks.

It's odd. I don't remember Mrs Wife wearing any glasses the night we met, but it would explain a lot.

First I thought you were refering to this[^] and thought maybe you just have not seen any android devices. Not sure what name they will tag it but they already used that one ;P I saw some blog posts a month or so ago (probably who they are refering to) and they thought by end of year and the pricing would be similar to a high end smart phone ($400-$600). I can see something like this catching on with the 20 something crowd. Augmented reality would be really kewl, but I would not care for it until society becomes coupled to it. Someday this could be the case and I do not want to be the old man at the check out writing checks (seriously, why do people still use checks at the grocer... They even hand the dang thing back to you because they run it just like a check card!)

If they could actually use the Oakley glasses then I'm assuming uploading a bike computer app would be simple, and then I'd have my music, my bike computer, and my mapping, as well as a helmet cam, all in one. That would be beyond cool.

Ah now I know the market for those $20 sunnies you can buy at service stations - silly buggers who can seem to keep them. I have to throw mine away when the arm wears out or the lens gets too scratched.

To be fair I had not seen your comment as I had loaded the page in the background and didn't refresh before posting.
