Drives me crazy sometimes at the hoops you have to jump through to do things.
VS2010/Atmel Studio 6.0 ToDo Manager Extension
Version 3.0 now available.I think what annoyed me was that I couldn't do it the obvious way, but I didn't have to get any extra permissions to do it the un-obvious way. Daniel Grunwald's answer explained that.

Shouldn't that button be redirected to Sinofsky? Maybe some direct physical stimulation could get the moronic ideas of late fixed. :)

Windows 7: I have a USB HDD I want to re-use. First, let's dump what's on it, and do a quick surface check: Explorer, X:, Right click, Format. "You don't have permission to do this." Damn. How do you run Explorer in Admin? Dunno. Ok, let's try: Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Storage, Disk Management, find the disk, right click, Delete Volume. Yep, that works. So does "New simple volume", followed by unchecking "quick format". Same job - a format - no permissions changed...Stupid!

VS2010/Atmel Studio 6.0 ToDo Manager Extension
Version 3.0 now available.I think it works fine the way it is. There are actually two middle setting between all-on and all-off. Each has a short warning. For example, the first middle-of-the-road setting down provides a notice "Recommended if you use familiar programs and visit familiar websites." All-on should be the default, I'm not sure if it is or not. In my opinion, you should be happy that they added the option so that power-users don't have to be annoyed when they don't need to be.

Win-E launches Explorer. Right-click on its icon on the taskbar. Select Windows Explorer (below the Frequent list). Run As Admin. Works for pretty much any app that's already being shown on the taskbar.
