Thanks ! Only yesterday my colleague (he's australian) explained to me it is bad luck to say "good luck" and so the expression "break a leg" was born as wishing someone bad luck brings good luck :-D .

So that's performing a throw every two seconds for thirty seconds, six times? :wtf: In my head, you realise this whole thing looks like a Charlie Chaplin movie, with the timing sped up. Complete with vaudeville piano soundtrack.
Beautiful is better than ugly. Explicit is better than implicit. Simple is better than complex. Complex is better than complicated. Flat is better than nested. Sparse is better than dense. In the face of ambiguity, refuse the temptation to guess.

Is it? Saying "good luck" changes the way the universe works to bring misfortune to a specific person? Has the Age of Enlightenment and Reason not reached the antipodes yet?

I have my exam 1st kyu (brown belt) Jiu-Jitsu tonight. I know all my techniques (about 150), all katas (1 big one and 3 smaller) and my own techniques as well (18 for this belt), but terminology is not 100%. The exam starts at 19:00 and will last until +/- 21:00. What I'm really not looking forward too (pray he forgets to ask this) are the throws: - one series of O-Goshi right 15 times in 30" - one series of O-Goshi left 15 times in 30" - one series of Ippon Seoi Nagi right 15 times in 30" - one series of Ippon Seoi Nagi left 15 times in 30" Not looking forward to this, at all. Started training for this in January (3,5 months) How I wish it was 21:00 already. Think I'll  well tonight. Did I mention I really NOT looking forward to those throws? X| Anyone else have a tough night in front of them?
