I have vomited so much that I feel I have been eviscerated. Such sickly-sweet sentimental aphorisms are for those that need them, or for angst-ridden teenagers still looking for their philosophy as the embark on their imago stage of existence. For those of us who have been around a few corners, who are much more embittered or cynical, and for whom life is well understood for what it is, (ie, ok, but there is a nagging doubt that it could be better) these things rile and annoy in their cloying mediocrity.

The answer to number 40 is reading through the preceding 39.

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

Some of those questions are like those the HR guy at a job interview would ask to justify his presence. Are you looking for somebody to hire? :)

Don't you presume to judge who needs to ask themselves shit questions that come straight from the deranged gestalt mind of the Hallmark team. I have self confidence, backed by experience, and do not need paltry, tiresome, hackneyed axioms to justify my actions, thoughts, attitudes or perceptions.

As you might have gathered from the early reactions to your posting it is a little too close to actual feelings and emotions for many of the members. Put simply, it annoys them. It gets under their skins. It causes an itch that won't go away. Keep up the good work!
