Show only files that have my Name in a document library( Both People or group type)

I have added a column ABC of type person or group to a sharepoint library. I set a filter to the default view that you can only see those files that have your name in the ABC column (Filter is 'ABC column is [me]'). But what if I add a group to this ABC column and I am present in this group? The filter fails. Kindly help to add filter for groups or if any other approach is available. Thanks.
