    I'm sending out an HTML email with the following:

    <img style="width:628px;height:7px" alt="" src="http://www.codeproject.com/images/image.png">

    Fairly standard. Except that GMail renders it as

    <img style="width:628px;min-height:7px" alt="" src="http://www.codeproject.com/images/image.png">

    So instead of showing the image 7px high, it shows it "at least" 7px high, where "at least" has been interpreted to be "11245px". 11,000 pixels. That's slightly more than 7. ARGH! WHY?! ARRRRRRRGH!!

      Never trust a computer, especially if you have not misprogrammed it yourself. But why are you complaining? How often do you get that much more than you bargained for?

        Hello Chris Maunder can you tell me why vasily tserekh account have been closed if HE didnt published any offensive material, you shouldn have an account automatically closed for just 5 reports of spam or abusive, if so anyone with 5 differents accounts will be able to take out any codeprojject account

          you're posting something that isn't remote related to the thread and ask why your account has been deleted? seems legit.

          I'm brazilian and english (well, human languages in general) aren't my best skill, so, sorry by my english. (if you want we can speak in C# or VB.Net =p)

              He has not been active only today. Some times last week he had made some kind of 'poll' where he wanted to know wether we hate C++ or not and things got a little out of hand when we did not agree to his ideas. And last friday I also got not the best impression of him in another 'I hate C++' thread.

                  The irony. Chris should have posted his issue in QA, but now you go drive traffic to CP's competition.

                    The account was closed because of the trolling going on in the Lounge. I'm happy to reopen that account if the member concerned agrees to show a little more consideration.

                      Why would I post a rant in QA? Working around the issue is easy. Finding willing and eager sets of ears to hear my ranting is harder. Guys? Guys?? Where'd everyone go... :sigh:

                          Hahaha, I know I know. I was joking that it fell into the experienced cp'ian posts a thinly veiled tech question in the Lounge veiled so as to save face. I know it wasn't a question because the work around is simple. I was just giving you a hard time like I do to everyone else, and they do to me.

                                  Well it all depends on perspective I guess, on a large enough scale 11000 and 7 are more or less the same thing. For example, if the scale was 1 to a googol... ;P
