Lost my mum

Just got the news that my mum passed away peacefully in the last hour. Was due to go visit her this evening. Looks like I missed my chance. :(( Diagnosed with cancer late last year, picked up on a scan for something else, but it had already spread at that point. She opted out of chemotherapy as at the time had good quality of life and that kind of treatment can almost be as bad as the problem. She was 78, not a bad innings. You will be missed.

I am so sorry for you. There are no words to describe your loss, your mother is the most special woman in the world, and to lose she who gave you life is a wrench. My thoughts are with you Roger, may you find comfort in the days to come.

My condolences. :rose::rose: It is not easy to loose a parent. When my dad passed I had left Hospice to go home shower and pick up the mail at both my place and his. Mom called and said get there now! I did not make it. So I know how you feel.

Sorry to hear your news - yesterday was the 13th anniversary of the passing away of my mother and what you are going through is going to be very individual to you, I hope you get the support and space you need(lot's of walks...) - if you are able to, keep a photo of your mum nearby :rose:
