By Consensus or majority thinking, who are considered as the "All time great" actors? I needed the response, to show my esteemed colleague that his knowledge of Movies should be "expanded"

David Garrick. Oh I see, they only count as actors if they are in the movies.

Gabriel Byrne, Steve Buscemi, Morgan Freeman, and Ashley Judd. Forgot to add an honorable mention to John Lithgow to that list. His sociopath roles were almost forgotten since his "3rd Rock from the Sun" days. Also need to add Sidney Poitier to the list.

I agree with Gary Oldman even though I thought he was a major disappointment in Tinker Tailor. Sir Alec Guinness if you please. He's good and so is his beer. Geoffrey Rush - Come ON! - What has he done besides Pirates?

Pal - the first dog to play Lassie. Played a female character in many films and personal appearances despite being male.

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

Morgan Freeman is deffo on the list, but Ashley Judd would be on the Actresses list.
