Jaquers thread on trial expiry reminded me of my favourite "wind them up" font: Crazy Killer[^] Not that I'd use it in a status report or anything... Anyone else got a good 'un?

I've started using the Linux Libertine[^] fonts because they allow programs like LibreOffice to use ligatures automatically.

I am doing some graph design as a hobbyist ( mostly for flyers ) and am using a lot Benjamin Gothic[^]. The advantages of Comic Sans without the disadavantages. And the trend is to getting everything more lean and round, this font fits perfectly. I downloaded a pack of 10,000 free fonts some years ago, so I have plenty to choose from at home...

I often use this font[^] for may ransom greetings cards. "Have a merry Xmas, or the robin gets it" sort of thing.

Since I have kids, cutting the letters of the paper is far more easier. Plus they do that with a random pattern that happens to drive the forensics nuts.

One I've used a lot is pthallw0.TTF (right-click to download it in a zip file; I can't find a web resource with it). Looks lovely if you 3D it in red & black.

Very Hammer House of Horror! Pity it isn't in two parts: one for the black, and one for the red... :-D

I generally use (when I want to mess with someone) the tiniest font I can find installed on the system. I keep a list, too. Here's just a sampling:

                    • Coolvetica at 8pt
                    • Monotype Corsiva at 6.7pt (Unreadable unless you have a high-DPI monitor)
                    • if I can get away with it, MS Mincho, since it substitutes \ for (YEN SIGN). Set that at 10pt for the app interface font. watch people squirm.
                    • while lovely other places, Arma Five And Its Siblings can be deadly, as many of them don't have capital letters.

Being kind, I use Monaco, Roboto, Droid Sans, etc. UIs on vista+ demand Segoe UI.

"Pinky, are you thinking what im thinking?" "I Dunno brain, how many licks DOES it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?" "You want me to calculate that? or should we take over the world?" "ooh! OooooOOOooH! lets find out!"
