A hunter is out in the woods chopping firewood for the coming winter. While he is busy an indian passes. The hunter knew of the indians bond with nature and asked the indian if it was going to be a rough winter this year. The indian answers "winter will be pretty mild this year". Just to make sure the hunter continues to chop some more firewood. After a while a second indian passes and once again the hunter asks if it is going to be a rough winter. This time the indian says "yeah, it is going to be pretty rough!". Pleased that he did not take the earlier indians advice the hunter continues to chop some wood. Some time passes and a third indian comes walking by. Once again the hunter asks if the coming winter is going to be a rough one. The indian shivers and says "coming winter is going to be one of the toughest winters I've ever seen!". Pleased that he has at least more than enough firewood the hunter asks "how do you guys know these things?" The indian answers "we can see by that pile of firewood you've got there!"
