Skype users be aware...

Hi, Today I've installed the new version of Skype. I use the click to call plugin to call directly from the web browser. If you work with Excel and you install that version you'll notice that copy/paste stop working as usual (it will only copy the content and remove any function that could be in the cells you are copying). By now, the only fix out there seems to be uninstall/deactivate that plugin. :~

Thanks! I had this problem too, but I had no idea it was Skype. How'd you figure it out?

I've found that the copy paste in excel stopped working without notice... After that I've started to search "Excel 2010 copy paste problem" and one of the links was in a forum in which somebody spoke about Skype... After that I searched again including the skype word in the search and plenty of info was there... all of them were saying that closing all the internet explorer, chrome... should allow it to work. After that I've uninstalled the click-to-call plugin. I'm glad that this post have helped someone...

Your Google prowess exceeds mine. I tried a number of searches without getting a hint of Skype being the problem. Thanks again.
