BBC News were doing a story on the continuing massacres in Syria. The decided that the fragrant Sophie Raworth needed a graphic on the big screen showing (From Left to Right), a scene from Syria, Amnesty International's Symbol and a graphic showing that the UN Security Council were involved. Fail[^] Master Chief John 117 will be pleased!

I've never thought of Bashar al Assad as the Leader of the Covenant, but it would explain a few things...

Sophie Raworth seems to have developed a Halo [Edit] Given the range of images here[^] it's pretty distressing that they didn't spot it obviously wasn't real. I like the way they skipped the first logo, because it was white and would clash with the amnesty one. Mind, that said its pretty depressing > 99% of the results I looked at relate to the the game in the first place.

I quite like the response from the BBC, some spokesman pretty much just said "shit happens".

Nice as she is I feel she languishes 4th on the list of Newsreaders I would. First is Suzanne Reid, then Kate Silverton before moving on to Fiona Bruce. Jane Hill would be fifth, but alas I am not her type, if you know what I mean. Actually thinking about it they all have a certain look. I suppose it is my middle class mummy fetish rising to the fore. Still, they are all attractive.

I believe so. On my monitors this comes as dark blue, white and red, and the star is almost unvisible and I think my flag recognition must be biased.

Marks out of 2: 1,1,0. Fiona Bruce is a bit past it from my point of view. As for Jane Hill, perhaps you could just watch. ;)
